The Royal Jam Band Releases Their Second CD!!

   With 11 new songs by the Conservatory's student band, this CD shows the kids' growth as musicians and is also a darn fine listen!  Returning for this year's CD are lead vocalist Michelle Bock, singer/songwriters Erin Williamson and Jessica Debski, bassist extraordinaire Jake Muscavage, keyboardist Joshua Balliet, Mike McLeod on tenor sax, and electric guitar-slingers Zion Fritzinger, Alex Humphries and Matt McGeehan. Nick "The Hammer" McGeehan steps up to the full drum set this year as well, and does an excellent job.

   Also nailing down the rhythm is new drummer Matt Schweitzer, and the band has added some metal edge with guitarists Steve Green and Mark Kunkle. The CD gets extra production kick from engineer Jason Sander, who is offering a Recording Arts Class over the summer, for any of you interested in doing your own recording. The band is directed by Mike Stanley, and their performances are enhanced this year with some really spectacular lighting. Most pro bands aren't this well equipped! This picture was taken in March of 2007 at one of their concerts, and as usual the band sold out the place.
