Mike Stanley is a musician, songwriter, author, teacher and producer. He performs with many nationally known artists and his own blues rock band, performs on classical guitar as a solo artist, and teaches music at the Royal Jam Conservatory in Lehighton, Pennsylvania. He has released a number of CDs under his own name and with various recording acts since 1980. 
Primarily a guitarist, Mike is also an accomplished bassist, drummer, vocalist,
keyboard and piano player, and can play clarinet, sax, violin and cello. A few other
things, too. Mike's original material ranges from classical to hard rock, electric swing
to acoustic folk, and has even written some comedy material.
He is a sought-after session player, and has appeared on many tracks by a variety of artists. Part of his discography is at the bottom of the page, and you may be surprised at some of the artists he's cut tracks for. While already well-known for his prowess on the guitar, he's also an outstanding bassist and showman!

for a variety of other artists here at the Royal Jam Production Studios. He is
currently working on his seventh CD of original music with drummer Al Heppe,
Keyboard and Dobro wiz Matt Koch and bassist Ross Cangelosi. The new CD is due out
Summer of 2008. You can hear some samples of the new CD at our MySpace page above. Mike has been cutting some tracks with Arianne at Brian Anthony Studios for her up-coming "Love" CD, and recording the third CD by the Royal Jam Band (made up of Conservatory students performing their own original music) both due out in the next few months.
As you may know, the Mike Stanley Band has been taking some time off to write new material, and the Conservatory has been very busy. However the new stuff is great, Mike and the boys are looking forward to many gigs over the summer, and hope to see you there! Check out the schedule page on the menu at left to find out where Mike will be more than once, because it gets updated fairly often.
